The Montpelier
This colonial type bench or chair has a working drawer below the seat that adds a great dimension to the piece. The height is 47 inches, the width 24 inches and the depth 16 inches. The chair is suitable for sitting or can be used to hold decorative pillows or coverlets. The piece shown has been finished is dark walnut stain and painted black. Each piece is then distressed for an aged look and finished with a hand-rubbed wax paste.
